Come up short

I ordered a 600 meter spool of 60lb but when I put it on my Shimano Forcemaster the counter on the reel only read 525 meters so I’m short of 75 meters???

Enjoy casting a mile

I used the 60lbs for 7 days fishing from the shore in Africa. None of the other guys of the trip could reach the same casting distance of mine. 100 mt with a 100gr sinking stick were easy to get, and 20kg Threadfins had no chance once hooked. For reference i bought 350mt of 60lbs to fill my catalina 5000, but if you spool it tight as i do, 380/400mt are the best. Once you try it, you'll never go back.
